Mongolia Web News, Ulaanbaatar. The horse racing commission made the decision that the smaller Mongolian and larger Arabian horse will race separately starting this year. For the past few years they were both allowed in the same races, but people argued that it spoiled the peculiarity of Mongolian tradition. Because the Arabian horses are taller and strongerthey are more likely to win, but are also more expensive, which has lead to only weatlhy people's horses being able to win in recent nadaam. The new policy is aimed at giving Nadaam back to the people.
