Agreement signed to train Mongolian students in Japan PDF Print E-mail

japan Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/. A memorandum of the JDS program (Japanese Grant Aid for Human Resource Development Scholarship) was exchanged on August 10, 2006 between the governments of Mongolia and Japan. According to the basis of the memorandum, Japan International Cooperation Center concluded an agreement on management service of the 2006 JDS program with the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science of Mongolia according to the reference of the JICA. Vice Minister of Education, Culture and Science S.Tomor-Ochir and Chief of the Foreign Relations Department in the Japan International Cooperation Center Michiko Takaya signed the agreement on Thursday. The above program has been implemented since 2001. Since then, a total of 99 Mongolians have been studying in Japan. 41 graduates of the program are now working in their country.
