Ulaanbaatar, . Today, at 2 p.m, members of the Free Association of Mongolian Senior Citizens started a demonstration at the Sukhbaatar Square. They hold slogans meaning Let s resign the Presidium of the Ulaanbaatar City Khural (Assembly) of Citizens` Representatives , Dissolve Parliament and Let s transmit the officials of the Ulaanbaatar City Public Transportation Regulation Department . The Association Head G.Baasan said that "Senior citizens have demonstrated ten more times for the increase of their pension volume. As a result of our combat, the minimum volume of pension has been added by 8,000 togrogs. However, senior citizens can not stay at home as thinking the volume of or pensions has gone up. We will not follow any political party. We demand the Parliament and the Government, which are originating the public disorder and scattering the nation. We want to build up the state consisting of real fair citizens . The senior citizens demanded the Parliament and the President to immediately solve the current political situation. They handed over their demands to Mr. N.Luvsanjav, Secretary General of the Parliamentary Office, and N.Damdin, a staff of the President s Office, and they left for the building of the Ulaanbaatar City Mayor s Office. The demonstrators also demands from the Presidium of the Ulaanbaatar City Khural (Assembly) of Citizens` Representaives, the Ulaanbaatar City Mayor`s Office and the Ulaanbaatar City Public Transportation Regulation Department to let large-scale buses serve the public at 200 togrogs as before, to stop illegal ownership of the state properties, and give the building of the Mongolian Senior Citizens` Association to the authority of the Free Association of Mongolian Senior Citizens. B.Ganchimeg, the assistant of the Chairman of the Presidium of the Ulaanbaatar City Khural (Assembly) of Citizens` Representatives, received the paper of their demands. The demonstrators went to the MPRP central office building to hand over heir next demands to the MPRP officials. They will demonstrate again on January 18 to take replies for their demands.
