Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/. Under the Environmental Reform Project, a training has been organized in the Gobi Region under the theme Methods to breed rare plants of Mongolia . The project is jointly realized by the Mongolian Ministry of Environment and the Open Society Forum with the financing from the Environmental Trust Fund of the Netherland Government. The training brought together more than 1,000 specialists and workers of 20 environmental organizations of over 20 soums of Gobi-Sumber, Dornogobi, Gobi-Altai and Tov aimags. Some specialists of the Research Institute of Natural Resource Management gave lectures on the plantation, protection and proper exploitation of rare fruitful plants in the steppe of Gobi regions and arranged also a practice on the special field. An ecological reference book and saplings of rare plants were presented to all people who were involved in the training.
