Mongolian youths attend the Environmental Network of Northeast Asian Youth forum PDF Print E-mail
Friday, 29 September 2006
Delegates of Mongolian young people attended the second forum of the Environmental Network of Northeast Asian Youths held in Shanghai, China on September 17-22. More than 50 representatives from four countries participated in the forum titled Desertification and Dust Storm and shared views on desertification reduction and preventive measures. They formulated a plan for the environmental network’s 2006 activities. The aim is to unite youth organisations and young people from Mongolia, China, the Republic of Korea and Japan in order to promote discussion on sustainable development, while also cooperating with other youth network organizations in the Asia-Pacific Region.
