Mongolian Cultural Heritage to be Counted PDF Print E-mail

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. A nationwide census of history and cultural heritage will be carried out in 2007. The census will cover historical and cultural findings and exhibits kept in museums all over Mongolia, also stone figures, petroglyphs, and ancient findings. Moreover, a number of activities will be carried out to connect museums in the 21 aimags to police departments through alarm systems, to equip the laboratories of the cultural heritage center and to protect cultural heritages. A total of 1 billion togrogs are allocated for these measures.
