Mongolian Province and Thai Region to Develop Cooperation PDF Print E-mail

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Tov Aimag, central province of Mongolia, has established relations with Singburi, Central Region of Thailand. The provincial Governor has recently visited the Region to hold the first negotiations. The Mongolian Ambassador to Thailand, Mr. Ya. Batsuuri has played a key role in establishing bilateral ties. The Governor of the Singburi Region warmly received the Mongolian delegates who were updated on the current socio-economic situation in the Thai Region and visited some small- and medium- sized enterprises as well as Buddhist temples. Thai representatives voiced a desire to export rice to Mongolia. During the negotiations, the two sides reached an agreement to cooperate in agricultural, tourism, mining and business sectors.
