Human Trafficking in Mongolia: Journalism Event PDF Print E-mail

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. The National Commission on Human Rights and the Gender Equality Center plan to jointly arrange a training titled "Women Trafficking and covering such kind of crimes" for journalists on November 23-24. At the training, non-government organizations will introduce results of surveys into the current state of human trafficking at the international and national levels, the forms of such kind of crimes, labor force emigration, and sexual exploitation and violence. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will make a report on Mongolian citizens who have had their rights violated abroad, and on the reasons for opening a Mongolian consulate in Macao. Information on human trafficking in Mongolia will be given by the Criminal Police Department.
