9.6 Billion togrog for electricity line in Khovd PDF Print E-mail

The construction of a  9.6 billion togrogs electricity transmission line has launched in  Myangad and Mankhan soums of Khovd Aimag .Within the scope of the activities focusing on connecting rural soums to the electricity transmission line, all soums of the aimag have been connected to the centralized energy system. Officials of the Newprogress Group, executor of the project and representative of the Ministry of Coal and Energy, and the Altai Trest company - the Group s branch in Khovd Aimag, and governors of the two soums have attended the opening ceremony of this construction work.

Akira KAMIMURA, lecturer, faculty of Mongolian studies, Tokyo University of Foreign Studies launched an innovative website on old Mongolian manuscripts maps in cooperation with the state archive of Mongolia. It contains 16 precious maps which are stored at the state archive for academic use. The oldest map was estimated being made in 1803-1805.
