Mongolia's Military Contingents in Sierra Leone PDF Print E-mail

Montsame reports: Since October 2006, Mongolia has sent three military contingents to Sierra Leone with the purpose of peacekeeping in the African country. Today, the third contingent consisting of 250 servicemen is fulfilling the mission, which will come to end in the mid of July. The Headquarters of the Armed Forces of Mongolia has been requested to prolong the term of mission. In view of this, the term of the mission has been prolonged by two weeks in connection with elections to be held there in July, according to an official of the Headquarters of the Armed Forces of Mongolia

elections moved to august due to parliamentary elections; they should've never been in the rainy season, much less so near the other elections. more SLPP Kabbah tricks. SL needs help; Kabbah will and is trying to rig elections; SL needs all the peacekeeping and WATCHDOGS it can get; if he rigs elections, the people may revolt and it will be worse than Nigeria; possibly more rebels

The military should prolong the mission, it would be very educational and would be a good experience for the soldiers, a time to stretch our eyes and see the world.
