German officials met in Mongolia Tuesday to review assistance projects they are currently funding in Ulaanbaatar.

The German Technical Cooperation Agency is paying for a variety of infrastructure projects in the capital city.

Mr. T. Bilegt, Ulaanbaatar Mayor, met with Mr. Sheffer, an official of the Economic and Cooperation Ministry of the German Federation, to review ongoing German technical assistance to Mongolia.

The German Technical Cooperation Agency has provided 14 million euros for assistance in extension of sewage construction in the residential district of Khan-Uul. They are also funding low-income household apartment construction.

In addition, the German Technical Cooperation Agency is expected to carry out a 4.5 million euros farming project near Ulaanbaatar.
