Beginning this summer, a new monthly train service will carry tourists between Ulaanbaatar and Beijing.
This follows the signing of an agreement between China Railway Travel Service, Erlianhot China Youth Travel Service and Mongolia Travel Service.
The first train is scheduled to begin operation on July 21. The train will carry 400 passengers.
The agreement calls for train service to continue for one year. Officials hope to stimulate tourism between the two capitals.
