Donor organizations have agreed to a $12.4 million donation for Mongolian education. 

Meeting in Ulaanbaatar to discuss the country’s educational system on Tuesday, the group includes the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, UNESCO, the British Save the Children Fund and some 30 NGOs. 

At the meeting, Yo.Otgonbayar, Minister of Education, Culture and Science, said, "We attach more significance to improving the quality of school textbooks and introducing new textbooks that meet the requirements of Mongolian children."  

The group meets to discuss Mongolian education four times per year.
