A record for 2008 was set Wednesday
when 140 couples were married at Wedding House in Ulaanbaatar.
In a special celebration, Wedding
House remained open from 1 a.m. to 11 p.m. to accommodate the couples.
Throughout the day, newlyweds, their families and friends crowded nearby
streets.
Wedding House was opened 30
years to provide wedding facilities to Mongolian couples. Since then,
some 40,000 wedding were held at Wedding House.
