Mongolia Web News, Ulaanbaatar. A portrait of Chinggis Khaan (Genghis Khan) was ceremonially placed in the State Ceremonial Hall in the Government House. The ceremony was attended by the Mongolian President N.Enkhbayar, Parliament speaker Ch.Nyamdorj, the Prime Minister N.Enkhbold, cabinet members and the Venerable Khamba lamas of several Mongolian Buddhist Temples. The Chinggis Khaan’s portrait was painted by G.Purevbat who is a creater of Buddhist images at the Gandantegchinlen Monastery. People’s Singer Sh. Chimedtseye and Honored Artist B. Tuvshinjargal performed a long song called Erkhem Tor, Gandan monastery lamas performed chanting and the National Anthem was played.
