On 10 April, Monday, while the SAPU demonstrators closed Peace avenue’s main intersections, a patient passed away in ambulance. The doctor reported “The patient had an urgent heart problem. Usually the distance from his home to hospital would take ten minutes for the ambulance but unfortunately that day roads were blocked and even we asked the victims to clear road for us, they didn’t listen. So it took forty minutes to get in the hospital, at that time the patient was in serious condition and ultimately passed away.”
