Mongolia's new cabinet had their first session on February 2nd. Their first action was a “Draft law of the State Great Khural for empowering of transferring funds“. It was decided that based on the changed economic situation, the salaries and pensions of officials of government should be raised.
The new cabinet agreed that the government must have rights to transfer the surplus of 2005 to salaries and pensions in 2006 for which is required a total 36.5 million tugrug. Government delivered this draft law to Deputy Chief of State Great Khural D.Lundeejantsan and Minister of Finance N.Bayartsaikhan, in 02 February, 2006.
