Mongolia Web News, Ulaanbaatar. As planned the State of Emergency and curfew were lifted at midnight Saturday, 24 hours later than some media reported. TV stations came back in operation broadcasting their regular Sunday entertainment mix of movies, soap operas and even EURO 2008 reruns. TVN 25 aired a concert of the National Morin Khuur Ensemble. The music groups director had earlier been shown on national tv crying over the loss of their costumes and instruments in the looting and the fire. Eagle TV showed a recorded interview with Elbegdorj, DP leader and one of the TV station's founders. His appearence contradicted rumours of him being sacked as party leader.
All internet portals came back into operation, with all comment features enabled. No protests are other disruption have been reported. MPRP Secretary General Otgonbayar, indicated that a standing committee on the electionprocess and outcome might be formed.
