For the first time since the
fall of communism in 1990, a Polish president has visited Mongolia.
President Lech Kaczynski and
his wife, Maria, arrived on Sunday for their official visit. Plans call
for a meeting with Mongolian president Nambaryn Enkhbayar where a joint
declaration will be signed.
Kaczynski will also receive
an honorary doctorate while in Ulaanbaatar.
Following his meeting in Mongolia,
the Polish president will continue to Japan and South Korea.
