whoever becomes a President, everything remains same. President of Mongolia does not have much influence to the policy whereas we have to judge our votes on Parliamentary elections.

THE WINNER IS DEMOCRACY.
Regardless of every ones standing, it is clearly a win for democracy when a fairly run open election shows its results and their is a peaceful transition in the presidency. They still have a coalition in Government. It is hoped Government will now proceed in what is best to help the Mongolian people and stop the stalemate of playing around with the Oyu Tolgoi investment agreement, in order to get employment, production and tax income move rapidly!!

It's amusing - and laughable - that Sydney Morning Herald and coupla other news outlets allege, citing unnamed 'analysts' and with a straight face, that the President-elect has, and I quote, 'populist' (and take that!) 'anti-foreign inclinations.' Oops! If they had done their homework, those self-described analysts would have noticed that he was one of the leaders of Mongolia's pro-democracy movement that has opened up Mongolia to ... 'foreigners' and helped open Mongolia to those ... 'foreign' notions of ... democarcy and human rights. DO.YOUR.HOMEWORK.
