Prime Minister S.Bayar met in Ulaanbaatar on Tuesday with a U.S. Congressional delegation from the House Democracy Assistance Commission led by Representative David Price.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Bayar said Mongolia hopes to work with the Congressmen to enhance its relations and cooperation with the new U.S. Administration.
Mongolia seeks to increase U.S support in strengthening its democracy, Bayar added.
"I would appreciate the U.S Senate's approving a resolution that expresses its sense regarding supporting democracy and economic development in Mongolia and expanding relations between the United States and Mongolia," Mr Bayar added.
The Prime Minister also told the visiting Congressional delegation that he hopes Mongolia's Parliamentary Speaker would visit the USA in 2010.
