Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/. The Mongolian President Mr. N.Enkhbayar has appealed to the political parties having seats in the Parliament. The President says ... The current political events in Mongolia show that a new Government is required to be built up immediately. In this situation, under their duties assumed by the Mongolian Constitution, the political parties having seats in the Parliament need to promptly reach an agreement on the Government arrangement issue for providing the social stability. I would like to appeal the political parties to reach a united decision on the above matter respecting the Constitution and giving priority to the country and its people s interests. No parliament political party, regardless of whether it will have a membership in the cabinet or not, has a right to avoid discussions and consultations on the principles, structure and compound of the new Government. The Mongolian People s Revolutionary Party (MPRP) and the Democratic Party (DP) must thoroughly consult and assume special liability. Mongolians have gathered democratic culture and experiences in mutually discussing at the consultation table any difficult issues and solving pressing matters. As for the Head of the State, I would like to specially stress that this issue to be regulated by the Constitution is required to be solved by ways of mutual consultations and agreements, but not by protesting, making demonstrations and breaching laws on the people s health and the properties of organizations." The President also appealed to the people to respect the national solidarity and to observe the social order and the law in the Year 2006 proclaimed as the year to celebrate the 800th anniversary of the foundation of the Great Mongol State.
